Programs we offer at Chester Tutoring
1 hour sessions once or twice a week on whatever subject is needed during the school year. This can vary weekly, as needed, or concentrate on one particular subject. Excluded are languages and some Science courses. We can correct problems, prepare for tests, and/or preview upcoming topics using the school material whenever possible for continuity purposes.
1-2 hour sessions weekly, total hours vary. Review of entire test including subject matter, strategy, practice material, time management, tool box, and includes homework. Can also focus on 1 or combination of specific subject areas: Math, Critical Reading, Writing (Grammar multiple choice)

Review of entire test layout including subject matter review, essay writing, strategy, practice material, time management, tool box, homework. Program can also be modified to cover any combination or single sections, test overview only, or any variation as needed.

A popular option is our transition program that helps students, who have taken the SAT previously, transition to the differences related to the ACT test.
Private School Testing
1-2 hour sessions once or twice a week to prepare for the required entrance tests. Overall time commitment varies. Tests used by the schools vary by grade and school and we are familiar with most if not all of them.
Summer Math previews/Reviews
1 hour sessions once or twice a week to review the past year’s material, usually in specific areas or chapters. We also can preview upcoming curriculum to help the student transition into the year, and provide weekly support during the year to help achieve success in tests and grades.
